Friedman Legal is pleased to announce a successful resolution on behalf of a condominium unit owner whose property was impacted by a significant water leak originating three floors above.
Following the incident, water traveled through multiple levels of the building and into the client’s unit. It was alleged that the source of the leak was not properly addressed by the upstairs unit owner, and that insufficient remediation efforts were undertaken to address water intrusion within the building’s common elements. Over time, the unresolved moisture conditions contributed to the development of mold within the unit.
Friedman Legal was retained to evaluate the claims and advocate on the client’s behalf. The firm pursued recovery from the upstairs unit owner and the condominium association, addressing both the cause of the loss and the resulting conditions within the property.
The matter was ultimately resolved through negotiated settlement, providing the client with compensation to remediate the damage and move forward.
This outcome highlights the firm’s ability to effectively manage and resolve multi-party condominium disputes and guide clients through complex condominium-related disputes.
